Creating dynamic and engaging influencer campaigns has become a key component of successful PR strategies for brands across the board. Influencers invite consumers into their homes and lives, earning the kind of trust that is out of the reach of even the most prestigious billboard and glossy magazine ad.
Exceptional influencer marketing is personal, with the brand aligning with the creator's core values and beliefs, collaborating in telling a story that evokes emotion or solves a problem - or, both.
BPR has the pleasure of working with many incredibly talented Canadian creators from coast to coast on a daily basis.
Here are some of our favourite influencer collaborations of 2021 and 2022 as well as a short list of some amazing influencers that we enjoy collaborating with in the food, beverage, fitness, fashion, lifestyle and sustainability spaces to consider for your next campaign.
Food
With Mazola Canada’s #MazolaMoments campaign, Mazola products are positioned at the centre of cooking conversations for major holidays and celebrations throughout the year, showcasing the original recipes and traditions of Canadians across various cultures.
The goal of #MazolaMoments is to spotlight that the love of cooking is universal by providing a national platform for Canadian content creators to tell their stories, share family traditions and discuss the special role that food plays around important holidays.
Collaborations this year have featured recipes tied to Lunar New Year, Easter, Ramadan, Eid, Dragon Boat Festival, St. Jean Baptiste Day, Caribbean Carnival, Rosh Hashanah, Diwali, Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and Christmas with more still to come.
Kicking off this campaign, BPR engaged expert recipe creators and photographers, husband and wife team Nat and Toni (aka @myfoodnation) located just North of Toronto in Stouffville. From conceptualizing original recipes to writing engaging copy and capturing beautiful photography, this dynamic duo is always a pleasure to work with.
For another outstanding #MazolaMoments collaboration, BPR worked closely with Sarah (aka @flourandspiceblog) to bring to life her jalebi recipe in celebration of Ramadan.
Sarah is a talented Pakistani-Canadian cooking and baking creator located in Oakville, Ontario, with a penchant for storytelling.
She engages with her audience on a daily basis not only showcasing new, original recipes in an accessible way but also sharing her inspiration, expert recommendations and lessons learned along the way.
Wild food creator and self-proclaimed adventurer, @joshmcfads creates captivating Canadiana cooking content framed in the country’s picturesque landscape. Josh is based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and travels all over Canada capturing content.
BPR collaborated with Josh to help Canadians showcase their summertime catch while enjoying Canada’s great outdoors with a fintastic fish fry, Popcorn Catfish with Tzatziki Dip, made with Canada’s favourite Corn Oil by Mazola.
We also enjoy working with @eatwithjessie based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, @aheadofthyme based in Vancouver, BC, @theseasoned.skillet based in Cookstown, Ontario, @z.e.n.e.r.g.y based in Toronto, Ontario, @chara.marie based in Vancouver, BC and many more for food, recipe and nutrition content.

Until 2019, she was the face of a popular YouTube channel, but she left to focus on her own business as a Drinkstagrammer; which is her word for the unique style of cocktail content she creates on social media.
BPR had the pleasure of collaborating with Rebecca on three different Thai-inspired cocktails, bringing the tropical flavours of Thailand to the homes of Canadian’s while travel was impacted during lockdown restrictions. Featured above is her Riceberry Collins “ginfused” with Thailand’s Riceberry Rice.
We also enjoy working with @cheerstohappyhour, @yescoffeenodecaf, @liquidxhappiness and @liqculture all based in Toronto, Ontario, @teaaholic based in Kingsville, Ontario, @tasteandtipple based in Ottawa, Ontario on beverage content featuring cocktails, coffee and tea.

BPR collaborated with KM on a month-long, specially curated virtual wellness journey designed to help Torontontonians identify easy, sustainable ways to focus on self-care, courtesy of Ninja Kitchen Canada.
Each Wednesday night in October, 2021, guests had the opportunity to participate in exclusive, one-hour virtual events hosted by Toronto’s leading health and wellness experts. The events incorporated the new Ninja® Nutri-Blender Pro with Auto-iQ® and Ninja® Foodi® Smart XL Pro 8-in-1 Indoor Grill and Griddle in fitness, mindfulness and nutrition workshops as well as a round-table style discussion on strategies for prioritizing self-care during the pandemic and beyond.
This program was centered around the new Ninja® Nutri-Blender Pro with Auto-iQ®, an easy-to-use, powerful tool for your kitchen repertoire, minimizing time spent on prep and cleanup — ultimately maximizing time spent taking care of you.
KM led two virtual fitness classes followed by smoothie-making demonstrations using seasonally-inspired, wellness-optimizing ingredients.
We also enjoy working with @karinaveee and @trishaenriquez, both based out of Toronto, Ontario on fitness content.

She was a source of positivity for the Self-tober group all month long, candidly sharing her personal experiences throughout the pandemic during our roundtable discussion and her original content.
We also enjoy working with @christianconfidential and @myvogueishdiaries both located in Toronto, Ontario, on fashion content.
Lifestyle
